Data center rack deployment and installation

What we deliver.

Axiom covers the complete infrastructure stack — from breaking ground on a physical datacenter to deploying AI models in production and securing the environment that runs them. We work with private enterprises, institutions, and governments. One team, one agreement, one point of accountability — from layer zero to layer seven and beyond.

Our Process

The Axiom journey — from zero to operational

Every engagement follows a path we've refined across nine years and hundreds of deployments. From blank slate to running, managed, documented system.

Data center design & build

Before the first server arrives, the environment has to be right.

Axiom designs and builds the physical layer that everything else depends on. This means full datacenter construction — racks, structured cabling, cooling systems, power distribution, fire suppression, and physical security. We've delivered a full-facility private data center build for an enterprise client. We understand what it takes to build for scale, not just for today.

For clients who already have a space, we perform site assessment, capacity planning, and retrofitting. For greenfield builds, we take the project from architectural drawings to a live, certified datacenter environment.

Capabilities
  • Site assessment & DC architecture design
  • Rack layout, structured cabling, cable management
  • Cooling system design & installation (air, liquid)
  • Power infrastructure, UPS, PDUs, redundancy
  • Physical security systems & access control
  • Fire suppression & environmental monitoring

Sovereign cloud deployment

On-premise. Air-gappable. Yours — completely.

We design and deploy on-premise OpenStack clouds for organizations that cannot — or must not — place their data in public cloud environments. This includes government agencies, research institutions, defense organizations, and regulated industries. Sovereignty is not an option we bolt on. It is the architecture.

Our sovereign cloud deployments are production-grade: multi-tenant, highly available, with full identity management, network isolation, and audit capabilities. We have built these environments for universities, national agencies, and international institutions supporting high-performance computing projects for dark matter research.

Capabilities
  • OpenStack private cloud design & deployment
  • Multi-tenant architecture & network isolation
  • High availability & redundancy configuration
  • Identity, access & role management (IAM)
  • Storage integration (Ceph, NFS, SAN)
  • Backup, disaster recovery & failover systems
  • Air-gap network design where required
  • Compliance & security audit readiness

Kubernetes & container orchestration

Production-grade container environments on sovereign ground.

We deploy and configure production Kubernetes environments on top of sovereign infrastructure — not on managed public cloud Kubernetes. Our K8s deployments are designed for environments with strict security requirements: air-gapped, hardened, and fully integrated with the underlying cloud layer.

We handle the full lifecycle: from cluster design and deployment through integration with existing workloads, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and ongoing operations. Organizations using containerized workloads in regulated sectors will find a team that understands the security constraints they operate under.

Capabilities
  • Kubernetes cluster design & deployment
  • Air-gapped & hardened K8s configurations
  • Persistent storage integration (Rook, Longhorn)
  • Ingress, service mesh & network policy
  • CI/CD pipeline integration
  • Monitoring & observability stack setup

AI infrastructure

On-premise AI — without the public cloud dependency.

Institutions that need AI capabilities without placing workloads in third-party environments require a different approach. Axiom builds on-premise AI infrastructure from the GPU cluster design through the inference layer — fully sovereign, air-gappable, and tuned for production workloads.

We work with both training and inference environments, integrating open-source models and custom pipelines into the same sovereign cloud fabric we've already built for the client. AI doesn't have to mean cloud. With Axiom, it can mean yours.

Capabilities
  • GPU server procurement & rack integration
  • AI cluster networking (InfiniBand, RDMA)
  • Model deployment & inference pipeline setup
  • LLM & open-source model integration
  • AI workload scheduling on Kubernetes
  • Performance tuning & benchmarking

Managed cloud services

We don't disappear after delivery.

For clients who want their infrastructure operated by the team that built it, Axiom offers ongoing managed cloud services. This includes 24/7 monitoring, incident response, capacity management, patch and update cycles, and regular architecture reviews to ensure the system evolves alongside the organization's needs.

We also provide structured training programs — technical workshops for the client's internal teams to understand what they operate. Knowledge transfer is built into every engagement, not offered as an optional add-on.

Capabilities
  • 24/7 infrastructure monitoring & alerting
  • Incident detection, escalation & resolution
  • Capacity planning & scaling recommendations
  • Security patching & update management
  • Architecture reviews & roadmap advisory
  • Technical training for client internal teams
06

Hardware supply & integration

Not a commodity sell. A component of a larger system.

Axiom sources and integrates servers, storage arrays, and networking equipment as part of larger infrastructure projects. We don't position this as a standalone resale service — every hardware decision is made in the context of the architecture it serves. That means the right hardware for the actual workload, not the highest-margin product.

We have deep experience with enterprise-grade hardware from leading vendors, and we handle logistics, rack and stack, cabling, firmware, and integration testing as part of every hardware engagement.

Capabilities
  • Server procurement & configuration
  • Storage array selection & integration
  • Enterprise networking equipment supply
  • Rack & stack, firmware, integration testing
  • Hardware lifecycle & refresh planning
  • Warranty & vendor support management

Security & infrastructure protection

Zero leaks. Zero unplanned downtime. Not a promise — a service.

Security at Axiom is not a configuration step at the end of a deployment. It is a continuous, managed service — designed, monitored, and maintained by the same team that built your infrastructure. We know every layer of what you're running because we put it there. That is the only realistic basis for true infrastructure security.

Our security service covers the full stack: network perimeter hardening, intrusion detection, access control auditing, vulnerability management, patch cycles, and 24/7 threat monitoring. For clients in regulated sectors — government, defense, healthcare, finance — we align implementations with relevant compliance frameworks. For private enterprise clients, we design for operational continuity: the goal is an environment that never leaks and never stops.

Capabilities
  • Network perimeter hardening & firewall architecture
  • Intrusion detection & prevention systems (IDS/IPS)
  • 24/7 security monitoring & threat alerting
  • Access control auditing & identity governance
  • Vulnerability scanning & patch management
  • Security incident response & containment
  • Compliance alignment (NIS2, ISO 27001, GDPR infrastructure)
  • Security architecture review & hardening roadmap
